China swimmer Sun Yang 'was banned' for doping 중국 수영선수 쑨양 과거 도핑 테스트 결과 3개월간 출전금지당했던 적 있다

Chinese Olympic and World Champion swimmer Sun Yang was banned for three months in May after failing a doping test, Chinese media has revealed. 중국의 올림픽과 세계챔피온 쑨양이 도핑테스트를 통과하지 못해 5월에 3개월간 출전정지 처분을 받았었다고 중국 언론은 전했다.

The China Anti-Doping Agency said he had tested positive for a banned stimulant trimetazidine, state news agency Xinhua reports. 중국 反도핑 협회는 쑨양이 금지된 흥분제(각성제) 트리메타지딘에서 양성반응이 나왔다고, 신화사는 전했다.

He went on to compete in the Asia Games in South Korea in September, taking three gold medals. 그는 금년 9월 한국에서 개최된 아시안 게임에서 금메달 3개를 얻었다.

Sun Yang became the first Chinese male swimmer to win Olympic gold in 2012. 쑨양은 2012년 하계올림픽에서 중국 남자선수 최초로 금메달을 목에 걸었다.

He took gold in the 400m and 1,500m freestyle events at London 2012. 그는 2012년 런던 올림픽에서 400미터와 1,500미터 자유형에서 금메달을 획득했다.

Xinhua said Sun failed the doping test at the national swimming championships in Hangzhou, but had served his ban by the time of September's Asian Games in Incheon. 신화사는 쑨양이 항조우 국가 수영대회를 앞두고 도핑테스트에서 탈락했으나, 인천 아시안게임이 진행되던 9월에 출전정지에서 풀려난 상태였다고 신화사는 전했다. 

Trimetazidine has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency since January.트리메타인은 세계 反도핑협회에서 금년 1월 이후로 금지한 약물이다.

Sun is a popular sports star in China but has been in the news before for his exploits out of the pool. 쑨양은 중국에서 유명한 스포츠스타이지만, 수영분야 외에서 보인 행동 때문에 뉴스거리가 되기도 했다. 

Last year he was held for seven days in police detention for driving without a licence, after a Porsche jeep he was driving collided with a bus. 작년 그는 포스쉐 짚차를 운전하다가 버스와 충돌하는 사고를 내면서, 무면허운전으로 경찰서 유치장에 7일간 갖혀있었던 적도 있다.

He also reportedly fell out with his coach over a relationship with a flight attendant. 그는 또한 스튜어디스와의 관계 때문에 코치와 사이가 틀어진 것으로 알려졌다.
