China's Alibaba eyes first bond sale after record listing 중국 알리바바 상장 이후 첫 채권 매각 준비
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba gets set to issue its first ever bond sale 중국 전자 상거래 거대기업 알리바바 상장 이후 첫 채권매각을 준비하고 있다
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba is set to meet with investors next week as it considers issuing its first US bond sale. 중국의 전자 상거리 거대기업 알리바바는 자신의 첫 미국 채권매각을 고려하면서, 다음주 투자자들과 만날 예정이다.
The tech giant has hired Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan to manage the sale. 알리바바는 매각을 단행하기 위해 모간 스탠리, 시티그룹, 도이치 뱅크, 제피 몰간을 고용했다.
Alibaba would offer dollar-denominated notes to institutional investors, the company said in a statement. 알리바바는 기관투자자들에게 달러화 지폐를 제공하게 된다.
Reports suggest that Alibaba would sell $8bn (£5bn) in bonds after its record public listing just two months ago. 알리바바는 2달 전 상장한 이후 채권 80조 달러를 매각하게 된다고 말한다.
News of Alibaba's bond sale comes after it made $9bn in sales on Singles' Day in China this week, which is considered the world's biggest online sales day. 알리바바가 채권을 매각한다는 소식은 금주 미혼자들의 날(?) 90조 달러를 매각하면서 나왔다.
In September, the company's initial public offering in New York was the biggest in the world, raising $25bn and its stock is up nearly 70% since then.
Alibaba will hold meetings next week in Boston, New York, Hong Kong, London and Singapore.
US ratings firm Moody's has given the proposed bond an A1 credit rating.
